SeTeL @ Aquaculture Europe 2026 – Visit our booth!

SeTeL @ Aquaculture Europe 2026 – Visit our booth! Aquaculture Europe 2026 has officially begun, and SeTeL is in Ljubljana to present our latest innovations in aquaculture and environmental monitoring. At the center of our booth is the MAR – Multipurpose Amphibious Rover, our modular amphibious platform designed to operate in aquatic, coastal, and transitional environments. MAR supports monitoring, inspection, and operational tasks through the integration of innovative sensors and technologies. Our participation in AE2026 is made possible thanks to the support of the 2026 SME Internationalization Voucher—a valuable opportunity to showcase MAR to an international audience, build new connections, and engage with companies, researchers, and industry leaders on the emerging challenges of sustainable aquaculture. Ljubljana, Slovenia Aquaculture Europe 2026 We look forward to an inspiring few days of meetings, knowledge exchange, and new opportunities!

SeTeL at Aquaculture Europe 2026 – Ljubljana

SeTeL at Aquaculture Europe 2026 – Ljubljana From September 28th to October 1st, SeTeL will be in Ljubljana for Aquaculture Europe 2026, an important international forum dedicated to the future of aquaculture, innovation, and new technologies for monitoring and sustainability in aquatic ecosystems. We will bring our experience gained in developing the MAR – Multipurpose Amphibious Rover, our modular amphibious platform designed to operate in aquatic, coastal, and transitional environments by integrating sensors and technologies for in-situ monitoring. As part of the session “Precision – Sensors, Robotics/ROV and Control”, Eng. De Francesco will present: “Amphibious Technologies for Sustainable Aquaculture: Integrating Satellite Data and In Situ Monitoring through the MAR (Multipurpose Amphibious Rover)” Thursday, October 1st, 2026 2:15 PM Povodni 2 – Ljubljana An opportunity to share our R&D journey and discuss with the international community the potential of robotics, monitoring systems, and data integration in supporting increasingly sustainable and data-driven aquaculture. See you in Ljubljana!

Talking innovation at AFRAQ2025!

Talking innovation at AFRAQ2025! On Thursday, June 26 at 3:00 PM, in the Kabalega Hall at AFRAQ2025, Prof. Em. Eduardo De Francesco delivered a talk as part of the session Digital Technologies and Aquaculture Engineering Raw Materials, chaired by Meenakshisundaram Menaga. His presentation, titled: “MAR: the amphibious rover for the protection of Lake Victoria – monitoring, restoration, and invasive species control”,focused on the MAR – Multipurpose Amphibious Rover, the vehicle developed by SeTeL to protect aquatic ecosystems, with targeted applications in environmental monitoring, habitat restoration, and invasive species control. That was a must-attend session for anyone looking toward the future of aquaculture and technology for the protection of inland waters!
