Il Forum dell’Innovazione, 14-16 November 2023, Hotel Cristoforo Colombo – Rome.
SeTeL is pleased to participate in the 8th edition of Technology for All, the annual Forum on technologies for the environment, cultural heritage and smart cities. The appointment includes the partecipation of our experts who will present the amphibious version of MAR, for monitoring, inspection and sampling activities of the critical infrastructures of water networks and basins. We will also talk about its fast-deployment and early warning characteristics.

Feira Nacional de Agricultura in Santarem
During the Feira Nacional de Agricultura of 6th June in Santarem we had the opportunity to present the SeTeL – MAR (Multipurpose Amphibious Rover) in the WineGrover Life Project context.
It was a great opportunity for us also to meet important intercultors as the Instituto Superior Agronomia of the Universidade de Lisboa with Mr. Joaquim Miguel Costa Coordinator of the “Grapevine & Wine Production” thematic line and Mr. António Pinto from ADVID/CoLAB VINES & WINES and to discuss with them about the achieved results of the LIFE Program and also to speak about the opportunities of MAR in the Precision Viticulture.

AQUAFARM International Conference 2022
On May 25th and 26th, SeTeL will present “MAR (Multipurpose Amphibious Rover)” during the 5th edition of the AQUAFARM International Conference & Trade Show on Aquaculture, Algaculture and Fishing Industry, in Pordenone.
Seadrone 2022
Sea Drone Tech Summit is the only Congress dedicated to the Unmanned Systems and Vehicles for the marine and submarine use.
The Sea Drone Tech Summit 2022 congress took place in Ostia (Rome) on Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 October 2022. In addition to the congress sessions, a large exhibition area was planned with the desks of research institutions, universities and companies, which presented their vehicles on a static display. Some operational demonstrations in the tank and at sea were scheduled.
SeTeL was there with the MAR (Multipurpose Amphibious Rover) presented in the session dedicated to the Unmanned Vehicle for the Marine Inspections.
Technology for All Conference
From 21st to 23rd of November, in Rome, will be the Technology for All Conference.
On the 21st, the day of the inauguration, SeTeL – Servizi Tecnici Logistici s.r.l. will exhibit the MAR (Multipurpose Amphibious Rover) and present it.
On the 22nd at 4:00 pm where Eng. De Francesco will talk about MAR and Geodata in Agriculture and on the 23rd at 3:00 pm with Dr. Manuel Greco he will present it as a possible platform for surveying and georeferencing in submerged excavations.
WineGrover – Measurement Campaign in CONRAD Vineyard
In the early days of April 2023, the first measurement campaign in the CONRAD vineyard has started for the WineGrover Life Project.
Thanks to all the people involved in this Project: Università degli Studi della Tuscia di Viterbo, Wellness TechGroup, Smart City Cluster, CREA-VE Asti – Centro di Ricerca Viticoltura ed Enologia, Inova+, Luiss Guido Carli University, for the achieved results.

A new Rover for the environmental monitoring and detection

Abstract:
We want to highlight the amphibious characteristics of the MAR vehicle (Multipurpose Amphibious Rover) through a deep analysis of its components and relating potentiality. MAR, thanks to its high versatility, can be used in several environments as platform both monitoring that carrying payloads such as sensors and electronic devices. It is particularly stable when moving on land, shallow water, snow and, therefore, in all those environments defined as “borderline” due to its low center of gravity. A key element of this vehicle is the polyethylene with which the external wheels are made allowing the rover to be very light. This feature would avoid damaging the marine flora and any submerged archaeological remains.
