SeTeL at Aquaculture Europe 2026 – Ljubljana

SeTeL at Aquaculture Europe 2026 – Ljubljana From September 28th to October 1st, SeTeL will be in Ljubljana for Aquaculture Europe 2026, an important international forum dedicated to the future of aquaculture, innovation, and new technologies for monitoring and sustainability in aquatic ecosystems. We will bring our experience gained in developing the MAR – Multipurpose Amphibious Rover, our modular amphibious platform designed to operate in aquatic, coastal, and transitional environments by integrating sensors and technologies for in-situ monitoring. As part of the session “Precision – Sensors, Robotics/ROV and Control”, Eng. De Francesco will present: “Amphibious Technologies for Sustainable Aquaculture: Integrating Satellite Data and In Situ Monitoring through the MAR (Multipurpose Amphibious Rover)” Thursday, October 1st, 2026 2:15 PM Povodni 2 – Ljubljana An opportunity to share our R&D journey and discuss with the international community the potential of robotics, monitoring systems, and data integration in supporting increasingly sustainable and data-driven aquaculture. See you in Ljubljana!

Setel at CNR for the Conference on Biodiversity and Sustainability!

Setel at CNR for the Conference on Biodiversity and Sustainability! On March 25th, Setel participated in the event “Biodiversity and Sustainability: new market opportunities“, organized by CNR in Rome. It was an unmissable opportunity to explore the challenges and opportunities for the future of biodiversity and sustainability! During the conference, Setel had the privilege of presenting Biovalvia 4.0, our innovative project dedicated to sustainability in aquaculture practices. Biovalvia aims to revolutionize the monitoring, maintenance and inspection of waters for shellfish cultivation, using an advanced amphibious rover equipped with a mechanical arm, sensors, actuators and artificial intelligence (Multipurpose Amphibious Rover) to study the behavior of the blue crab. With Biovalvia, we not only improve the efficiency of operations, but we also contribute to preserving marine biodiversity, trying to combat the blue crab and promoting innovative solutions for an increasingly green and responsible sector. Technology at the service of sustainability! The Biovalvia project is made possible thanks to the resources of the PNRR, Mission 4 “Education and Research”, and funded by the European Union – #NextGenerationEU.
