On March 25th, Setel participated in the event “Biodiversity and Sustainability: new market opportunities“, organized by CNR in Rome. It was an unmissable opportunity to explore the challenges and opportunities for the future of biodiversity and sustainability!
During the conference, Setel had the privilege of presenting Biovalvia 4.0, our innovative project dedicated to sustainability in aquaculture practices. Biovalvia aims to revolutionize the monitoring, maintenance and inspection of waters for shellfish cultivation, using an advanced amphibious rover equipped with a mechanical arm, sensors, actuators and artificial intelligence (Multipurpose Amphibious Rover) to study the behavior of the blue crab.
With Biovalvia, we not only improve the efficiency of operations, but we also contribute to preserving marine biodiversity, trying to combat the blue crab and promoting innovative solutions for an increasingly green and responsible sector.
Technology at the service of sustainability!
The Biovalvia project is made possible thanks to the resources of the PNRR, Mission 4 “Education and Research”, and funded by the European Union – #NextGenerationEU.
