On Thursday, June 26 at 3:00 PM, in the Kabalega Hall at AFRAQ2025, Prof. Em. Eduardo De Francesco delivered a talk as part of the session Digital Technologies and Aquaculture Engineering Raw Materials, chaired by Meenakshisundaram Menaga.
His presentation, titled:
“MAR: the amphibious rover for the protection of Lake Victoria – monitoring, restoration, and invasive species control”,
focused on the MAR – Multipurpose Amphibious Rover, the vehicle developed by SeTeL to protect aquatic ecosystems, with targeted applications in environmental monitoring, habitat restoration, and invasive species control.
